International Youth Camp in Taiwan 2020 SEASAT Youth Camp (Funded)

Applications are invited to apply for the International Youth Camp in Taiwan 2020. The second SEASAT Youth Camp will be held in Taiwan for international students from around the world. Participants with any academic discipline are eligible to apply.

The Duration of the SEASAT International Youth Camp will be for 4 Days & participants from Southeast Asia, South Asia or Taiwan are eligible to apply. The aim of the International youth leadership program is to Expose Participants in Women and Gender issues.

The 4 Day camp will emphasize the role of women and gender issues. This Year theme “Diverse. Empowered. Inclusive.,” the 2020 SEASAT Youth Camp will bring together 50 promising Asian youths who share the ideals of continuing the progressive momentum for women and gender issues.

About SEASAT Youth Camp Taiwan

  • Theme: “Diverse. Empowered. Inclusive.,”
  • In collaboration with the American Institute in Taiwan. This International Youth Camp which Consists of 4 Day. During this camp Participants will expose participants to women and gender issues through seminars, workshops, educational tours, as well as a crash course on basic leadership.
  • The Camp also doubles as a networking platform to further connect the SEASAT Youth.
  • The Camp will bring 50 promising Asian youths who share the ideals of continuing the progressive momentum for women and gender issues.

Financial Coverage

The organizers will cover all local expenses (Taiwan) incurred during the camp.

  • Miscellaneous Fees (Museum Entrance Fees)
  • Local transportation for event-related activities.

NOTE: Airfare and Visa. Participants will have to cover/look for external funding for their own round-trip transportation to Taipei, Taiwan.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 18 to 24 years old
  • Interest in contemporary Indo-Pacific issues, and youth leadership.
  • No Specific Academic Background Restrictions.
  • Citizens of Southeast Asia, South Asia or Taiwan
  • Holds a passport/Means to travel to Taipei, Taiwan

The Selected Participants will be informed through email on 8 May 2020 at 13:00 (GMT+8 Taipei Time).
