Applications are invited to apply for the Winter Japan Cultural Exchange Program 2020. The Japan Cultural Exchange Program is a Fully Funded Cultural Camp & Student Exchange Program for participants all around the world. Wanna know about Japanese Culture?

Participants from all over the world with any nationality are eligible to apply for the Japanese Cultural Camp by AYFN. This camp is a cultural learning program designed to give an understanding of culture and social awareness for participants. All academic fields are eligible.

The aim of the Program is to learn about Japanese culture in line with making a friend directly. This program is also an avenue to enhance knowledge and skill to face globalization. This is not a student exchange, but youth and cultural exchange program.

Program Description

Wanna know about Japanese Culture? Or experience to have Inter-cultural learning in line with making a friend? or just wanna see and travel to Kyoto and Osaka directly?

AYFN is delighted to invite you to join our winter culture camp in Japan. This is a distinguished program that suits your curiosity to have experimental learning!! Youth and cultural program.

Camp Location

This camp will take place in Osaka and Kyoto. Both cities are famous as Cultural city in Japan.

Participants in the program will have the unique opportunity to live in Osaka and Kyoto—the historic former capital of Japan.

Dates & Schedule

  • The camp will start on 19 January 2020 (Arrival in Osaka)
  • The Camp will End on 23 January 2020.
  • Participants will start their program at 7.30 a.m – 5.00 p.m every day.
  • In the evening, participants will have free time to explore the magnificent of Kyoto and Osaka or go shopping.

Financial Coverage

AYFN is a Fully Funded Cultural Exchange Program & will select the candidates based on merit. Selected Students will get the following benefits.

  • Flight ticket from home country (capital city) to Osaka (Japan) return (economy class).
  • Accommodation (5D4N) in Osaka, Japan.
  • Meal (Breakfast and Lunch)
  • Pick up  (Kansai International Airport, Osaka)
  • All activities indicated on the schedule.
  • Entrance ticket to tourism spot
  • Local transportation (Train and Bus)
  • E-Certificate of participation from AYFN
  • Program supervision
  • In-country 24/7 volunteer support
  • In-country administration costs

Benefits & Activities During Camp:

  1. Cultural tour activities in Kyoto and Osaka, whereby both cities are well known as the center of Japanese culture.
  2. Visit many interesting places both in Kyoto or Osaka, e.g: Osaka castle, Gion District in Kyoto (Geisha), Namba district, Arashiyama, and etc.
  3. Taste authentic Japanese cuisine
  4. Walk around the heritage area of Kyoto.
  5. Live for 5 days in Osaka, Japan

  1. Must be 15 – 35 Years old
  2. All nationalities are welcomed to apply
  3. Commit to joining the full program
  4. Able to adapt new environment easily
  5. Able to pay the registration fee
  6. Health physically and mentally

Registration Fee

  • Non-member of AYFN: USD 15
  • Member of AYFN: USD 10
